Beginning summer 2017, Moodle will no longer be the Learning Management System (LMS) of SJECCD, and all classes will use Canvas (LMS). Training faculty on using Canvas to teach courses started Spring 2016. A few faculty members, early adopters of Canvas, successfully piloted their online, hybrid, and web-enhanced courses on Canvas in Summer 2016. Some have joined in the piloting process in Fall 2016. Regular training sessions will be available in Fall 2016 at the Technology Resource Center (TRC) LE-227. The training will be provided by David Eisenberg, who will be substituting for the regular Distance Education faculty and coordinator, Nasreen Rahim, for Fall 2016. Please note that Nasreen Rahim will return in Spring 2017 to resume her responsibilities. Until then, if you have questions, please contact:
