Academic Counseling

A counselor is assigned to work specifically with AFFIRM students. Academic counseling makes it possible for students to explore options regarding their future goals. Services include:

• Student Educational Plans
• Program Planning
• Registration/Course selection
• Graduation Petitions
• Overrides, Academic Renewal, Etc.

Tutoring

Group and individual tutoring is available in the AFFIRM office.

Scholarships

Scholarship applications are available at the beginning of the Spring semester. Students can access scholarship information from the Evergreen Valley College webpage www.evc.edu.

Loans

A t the beginning of each semester book loans are available for students. To qualify, a student must be enrolled in at least 9 units, in good standing and must not be receiving financial aid.
