AFFIRM Orientation

Attend the Student Orientation to learn about AFFIRM Scholarships and how to apply, how to follow through on your transfer plans, the importance of program planning (Ed plans), the AFFIRM Mentorship Program, program requirements, workshops, schedule of activities and most of all to meet the staff. Refreshments will be available and prizes will be given at the orientation.
*ALL NEW STUDENTS MUST ATTEND THE ORIENTATION.

Your personal statement can sometimes determine whether or not you receive “that” scholarship. Please attend to find out what you should or should not include in your scholarship essay. Examples will be given.
How to apply for Financial Aid and Scholarships

Many scholarships go untouched because students are unaware of them or they don’t know where to look. Furthermore, students that might be eligible for financial assistance don’t apply because they don’t think they are eligible. Attend this workshop to find out how to apply for financial aid and EVC’s institutional scholarships from an EVC Financial Aid Representative.

This is done in a number of ways through criminal law, family law, corporate law, etc. Please attend this workshop if you are interested in become an attorney.
