How long is the waiting list?

We determine priority based on the California Department of Education's rules for priority admission (Section 8263b). Therefore, families on our waiting list are prioritized as follows:

• 1st priority - Low-income student parents at EVC or SJCC
• 2nd priority - Higher-income student parents at EVC or SJCC
• 3rd priority - Staff/Faculty parents at EVC or SJCC
• 4th priority - Non-student parents from the community
