- Shared Governance activities shall not be construed as an alternative to
or substitute for the legal right of Collective Bargaining
Representatives to make recommendations to the Board of Trustees on
bargaining issues, or the right of the Academic Senate to assume primary
responsibility for making recommendations to the Board of Trustees in
the areas of curriculum, academic standards and on professional matters.
