Services

CTSS helps you acquire and install all technology products. CTSS also provides support and maintenance for all equipment in the classroom, the labs, the staff offices, and events on our campus, including, but is not limited to:

Service Requests

For any non-emergency service requests, please send your requests to “EVC CTSS” or evcctss@evc.edu. As for any urgent requests, you may call (408) 274-7900 Ext. 6545 and leave a detailed message or go through your Division Dean’s office to communicate any urgent requests.

For other services (that are not listed under Services), please call District’s ITSS’s Help Desk at (408) 274-7900 Ext. 6411.

Support Hours

Monday – Thursday, from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m.
Friday, from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Team

CTSS works as a team in providing support to the community. However, due to complexity and rapid change of the technology, each member of our staff focuses on a different area. Over time, they have developed their own specialty within the department as shown below.

New Equipment Purchase

CTSS assists you in your purchase of technology product. You are encouraged to consult with CTSS when you are looking for technical solution to your business requirements. CTSS specifies the product and provides you a price quote that ensures standards and compatibilities with the campus network infrastructure. This quote can then be used by you to create a purchase requisition in DATATEL.

Communication and Collaboration with the Community

EVC’s CTSS team will continue to make improvements on how we do business. As we move forward, you will be hearing from us about any changes, clarification, and/or important information that will assist you with all technology related issues.
