The FasTrack Program at Evergreen Valley College is committed to assisting first generation, low-income students and students with disabilities achieve success in obtaining an Associate degree and/or preparing for transfer to a four year college or university. 

Here are the eligibility requirements for the FasTrack Program:

    • Financial Aid eligible
    • Student/Family income must be within this range:​

  • Priority is given to those receiving services from the EVC DSP Program or former/current foster youth.

Benefits of the FasTrac​k Program

    • Individualized career/transfer/educational planning with the FasTrack Counselor
    • Use of the FasTrack lab for study and computers
    • Printing and copying limited to 10 pages per day
    • Individual tutoring by FasTrack tutors
    • Specialized workshops and activities geared toward Transfer/ Student Success/Graduation
    • A limited number of students may qualify for a grant

Requirements of the FasT​rack Program

    • Have a 2.2 or above cumulative GPA
    • Be enrolled in 6 units or more at Evergreen Valley College
    • Complete TWO (2) appointments with FasTrack Counselor each semester
    • Participate in one FasTrack event such as tutoring, study skills or career workshop, mentoring or college tours each semester
    • Have a mid-semester Progress Report completed by all your instructors/labs
    • Attend all enrolled classes and complete all assigned tests and homework
    • Notify your instructors of any absences and make up any missed assignments as soon as possible
    • Meet with the FasTrack counselor before adding/dropping or changing your class schedule.
