Background

The Teaching and Learning Center was launched in January 2000, to provide support, services, and resources for faculty. The Resource Handbook for New Faculty evolved in response to a need to assist new faculty in becoming acquainted with campus and district services.

In spring 2003, Evergreen Valley College began a college-wide strategic planning process. This collaborative planning process set the College’s direction. Members of the faculty, staff, and administration contributed to this effort. Everyone developed individual-level plans, submitted them to the area dean, and discussed them in a college-wide planning session.
