Learning Communities bring together faculty from different disciplines to collaborate with one another and their students. Students in a Learning Community enroll in courses linked together with a common theme or question. They are taught in a structure that gives students enriched interaction with each other and with their instructors. This learner-centered environment provides stimulating and challenging opportunities for students to grow intellectually.
Project-based learning incorporates community-originated projects into the classroom environment. Students work on a project which helps them learn teamwork, project management, budgeting and other skills important for success in the workplace.
