Web Enhanced Education (W.E.E.)

Web Enhanced Education encourages faculty and staff to develop online classroom environments which are learner-centered, advance information competency, take advantage of e-learning communication and assessment tools, and increase access for all students.

Objectives:

    • Train faculty and staff to develop online classroom environments which are learner centered, advance information competency, take advantage of e-learning communication and assessment tools, and increase access for all students; 
    • Evaluate and establish technical support needs to setup WebCT course management system; 
    • Assess outcomes of WebCT-enhanced learning through qualitative and quantitative data collection and analysis.

Content:

    • Online Access (posting syllabus, calendar, course content, making courses accessible)
    • Online Communications (discussion, chat, e-mail, and information competency)
    • Online Assessment (quiz, survey tools)
      Course Management (assignments, grade-book and group presentation)

Educational Technology Courses

Educational Technology courses provide instruction for those who use technology in a traditional classroom or online environment. EDINT classes focus on developing the information, pedagogical and technical skills necessary to create instructional materials that will enhance student learning.
