January 1st – The Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) for 2010/2011 is available at: www.fafsa.ed.gov.

March 2nd – The Deadline for 2010/2011 Cal Grant for High School Entitlement Awards.

September 2nd – The Deadline for 2010/2011 Cal Grant Community College Competitive Awards.

Check Mailing Dates (TENTATIVE MAILING DATES)-

Fall 2009: 8/27 & 10/16
Spring 2010: 01/28 & 03/19

Please allow 5 to 7 days for mail processing

Listed above are tentative mailing dates for financial aid checks for students that complete their financial aid file early.  Most students receive 2 checks each semester: one at the beginning of each semester and another one approximately halfway through the semester (see dates above). 

Note: Additional mailing dates will be added for late applications as files are completed throughout the semester.
