Note: Please bring all transcripts and/or test scores with you to the In-person orientation. In particular, we will need your high school transcripts if you are a recent high school graduate.
Assessment and Placement
Provide high school transcript for multiple measures assessment (placement) by the college counselor. Growing evidence indicates that school transcripts and non-cognitive variables greatly improve the accuracy of the initial placement process. Students are encouraged to utilize their high school transcript in lieu of taking the placement test when completing the matriculation process. To schedule a multiple measures assessment with a counselor, please call (408)270-6475.
Or Take an Assessment Test to determine which English and Math classes you will start. To schedule an assessment test, please call (408) 274-7900 ext. 6636.Please have your student ID ready and a photo ID on your placement test day. It is strongly recommended that you take steps to prepare for the assessment test as those scores will help place you in the appropriate Math and English courses.
