Welcome to the Library!
Mission
The Evergreen Valley College Library supports the instructional philosophy and programs of the College. The Library supports the learning needs of a diverse student population, the instructional needs of the faculty, and the information needs of the community. To provide these support services, the Library gives access to recorded knowledge, information and data, and provides training and assistance in the use of recorded knowledge and information.
Library faculty teach information competency/literacy skills, which include the ability to access, retrieve, analyze, evaluate and apply information, and document sources. These skills, essential to lifelong learning, are an investment in student success when transferring to a 4-year college or university or moving into the workplace.

Program Review
The Student Services Program Review is a cooperative process that utilizes the knowledge, expertise, and opinions of faculty, staff, college management and students. The program review process initiates an extensive self-examination of overall program goals and objectives that allows for an accurate assessment of the quality of program outcomes and the efficiency of the use of program resources.
A full program review is completed every three years with annual summary evaluation/status reports. To view this download Adobe Acrobat Reader.
