Time Management and Determining College Units

Your grade point average, also known as your GPA, is a measure of how well you are doing academically.  It is figured by dividing total grade points earned by total number of semester units.  The semester units used to compute your GPA are those in which you received a grade of A, B, C, D, or F. 

Grade Points are a numerical value assigned to each unit of letter graded. Your Grade points are computed by multiplying the number of course units by the grade point value. Grades are assigned the following points:

A=4
B=3
C=2
D=1
F=0

Withdrawals (W), Credits (CR), No Credits(NC) and Incompletes(I) are not included in the calculation of your GPA.
