A Conversation with Carol Channing

When: Sunday, September 19, 2010 at 3:00 PM
Where: Evergreen Valley College Performing Arts Center
Tickets: $40 per person
Ms. Channing and her husband, Harry Kullijian, take the stage at the beautiful new Evergreen Valley College Performing Arts Center to reminisce about her legendary career on stage and screen and her lasting friendships with other celebrities.
World renowned for her roles in "Hello, Dolly!" and "Gentlemen Prefer Blondes" among many others, Ms. Channing remains a vibrant onstage presence and a star who is truly devoted to promoting arts in public education. Most recently, Ms. Channing and Mr. Kullijian have traveled widely to support a Congressional resolution to designate a national Arts in Education Week each September in recognition of the ongoing decrease of creative outlets for our children.
Audience members will have the opportunity to ask questions and are invited to a champagne reception following the presentation where Ms. Channing will pose for photographs.
With only 400 tickets available, this is a must-see date for theater lovers to get up close and personal with a beloved actress. Proceeds will benefit low-income students at Evergreen Valley College in San Jose. Tickets available online at www.brownpapertickets.com or by phone at the EVC Student Life Office: 408-274-7900 X6867.
