Evergreen Valley College Invites Community to Dios De Los Muertos Celebration

October 24, 2008, San Jose, CA – With Latinos comprising a third of its student population, Evergreen Valley College celebrates The Day Of The Dead in style with the community.  Live performances by Storyteller Olga Loya, Grupo Folklorico Las Estrellas and Grupo Tlaloc-Chalchiuhuitlicue accompany the Alter Exhibit and the Artesian Display.

The event, which attracts up to 500 people, is sponsored by the EVC Enlace Student Association, EOP&S, the Office of the EVC President and SJECCD District Chancellor, the Diversity Action Council and the Associated Students of EVC.
