We are pleased you are interested in gaining a valuable educational experience through active involvement in your community!
Evergreen Valley College our mission is to prepare our students to be civic-minded, responsible citizens of the world.

Through Service-Learning students receive hands-on experience by serving a community agency, non-profit or school for approximately 15-30 hours per semester.
Students’ grades are based on the learning they demonstrate in classroom discussions and reflection assignments such as journals, research papers, writing assignments and presentations, NOT on the number of hours served.
Our Community Partners play a vital role in our student’s education.
Through hands on learning, students develop an ethic of service and actively engage in the growth and development of their community and society. Click here to see a listing of approved schools and agencies.
Example: Environmental studies students may choose to restore wildlife habitat or teach children about pollution.
Our website includes all the information you will need to learn more about Service-Learning and on how to get started.
