This four course sequence of courses in jewelry design is formulated for the entrepreneur who wants to pursue a career as an independent jewelry designer/manufacturer of hand crafted jewelry and related art objects. Students will study the history of jewelry and metalsmithing from the earliest times to the present and will learn to use the elements of art structure to create their own unique works of art.
