Evergreen Valley College students have the opportunity of transferring to a variety of public and private four-year colleges and universities in California. Students may transfer to a college in the UC system, the CSU system, or various private universities and colleges. Transfer students should be aware of both the entrance requirements and graduation requirements of the university or college they wish to attend. Part of the Evergreen Valley College curriculum is designed to prepare students to transfer to a four-year college or university by providing instruction in general education coursework and preparatory courses for specific four-year majors. As soon as possible, students choose the particular college or university they wish to attend after Evergreen Valley College and the specific major area they wish to pursue. The counseling staff is available to assist students in making these important decisions. The Transfer/Career/Work Experience Center at Evergreen Valley College provides articulation agreements for courses that meet both lower division major requirements and general education requirements for colleges and universities frequently attended by transfer students from this community college. Many of these agreements are on the web at www.assist.org. Students should consult with a general counselor or the Transfer/Career/Work Experience Center counselor regarding use of these agreements.
