Business and Workforce

Thank you for visiting our Business and Workforce Development Division home page.  We are excited for the opportunity to show you the many programs that will prepare you for the workforce and continued education to four-year institutions.  As we move into the 22nd century economy, relevant and versatile skill sets are essential to optimizing your long-term employment in a high-demand, high-wage occupation in the Silicon Valley region.

For more than 39 years, Evergreen Valley College (EVC) has been an integral part of the city of San Jose and Santa Clara County.  As a whole, EVC has served as a primary post-secondary educational institution for key career pathways to support the growth of Silicon Valley in reaching economic mobility for high school students, adult learners, and community at large.

Our programs are aligned with the critical workforce needs of our industry partners in developing up-to-date courses that incorporate hands-on learning, applicable and applied technical skills, and long-term critical and soft skills to be competitive and successful in the workforce.  These career pathway programs are focused in providing you experiences in the field of your study with industry partners through internships, apprenticeships, and/or on-the-job training work experiences.  EVC is committed to your individual academic success, employability growth, and job sustainability.  Our ultimate goal is to expand and ensure our students' ability to thrive and work locally in Silicon Valley and beyond.  We welcome you to explore our programs and see how we can assist you in meeting your academic and economic success.
