STEM Core is ​​a special program for students interested ​​​​in​​ Science, Technology Engineering,​ an​d Math (STEM).

​Student​s will take a two-semester course math sequence with embedded tutoring and have opportuniti​es to compete for paid summer internships. 

All students are eligible to apply for STEM Core! Students will be placed into one of two program tracks.

Track A: STEM Core Cohort

  • Eligibility: Enroll in Math 13 or 16 (Fall semester); Enroll in Math 25 (Spring semester)
  • Emphasis: Cohort style, wraparound support from team, including faculty, tutors, counselors, career coaches, etc

Track B: STEM Professional Development

  • Eligibility: Must be a registered EVC student
  • Emphasis: Career coaching, professional development in STEM-related fields
