CSU UNIVERSITY SYSTEM

SFSU Environmental Studies Majors & Scheduling One-On-One With Current Ambassador

For many years Environmental Studies Program at San Francisco State was an impacted program, but no longer. That means if a student is eligible to transfer to a CSU, they are admitted. They accept students in both the Fall and Spring. There are transfer agreements in Assist.org and the majority of students transfer without an ADT. The Biology ADT supports B.S. in Environmental Studies, Natural Resource and Conservation

Short program description: Environmental Studies is an interdisciplinary major that brings together social sciences and natural science to study environmental issues. The Environmental Studies Program at San Francisco State offers both BA and BS degrees. The BA has three emphases: Environmental Sustainability and Social Justice, The Urban Environment, or Humanities and the Environment. The BS degree is in Natural Resource Management and Conservation. If you want to do something about environmental problems this is the major for you. We have a very activist, social justice and applied program that focuses on solutions.

A digital program brochure is attached that you can share or post.

A video describing program can be viewed at this link

For additional information you can access our website here

If you have students who would like to talk with a current major about the program,  can sign up to be connected with a student "ambassador" at this link

Problems registering into one of these? Please contact EVC Transfer Counselor: josedejesus.sanchez@evc.edu
