How To Connect With a Counselor

Students are not assigned counselors. We recommend you find a counselor you feel comfortable with and schedule follow-up appointments with the same counselor.

  • Online Appointments:  Counselor are available for a virtual counseling appointment via Zoom, an online meeting platform that works on computers, smart phones, or tablets. A zoom account is not necessary to participate.

  • Telephone:  Call 408-270-6475 to schedule a 60-minute telephone counseling session.

  • E-mail Quick Questions: For general questions about college procedures, academic policies, course prerequisites, programs and services send e-mail to mycounselor@evc.edu along with your name and EVC Student ID. Questions are answered in the order received. Due to high volume of student e-mails it may take up to 5 business days to receive a response.
