During the Library closure due to Covid-19, some of the Library practices have been necessarily changed. Visit the EVC Library Online Support Guide for updated services and resources.

Student Access to Reserves:
Students may fill out the textbook request form and make an appointment for pickup. During Covid-19, loan periods have been extended to the end of the semester. Email questions to evc.circdesk@evc.edu

Other Textbook Access:
Finding Low Cost Textbooks

Placing Items on Reserve:
When the library reopens, bring the materials to the Circulation Desk and complete a Course Reserve Form for each course. You may preprint and use this Reserve materials form. During Shelter In Place, loan periods are semester-long. When regular practices resume, you may choose a 2 hour, 1 day, or 3 day loan period for each item.

Instructional Sessions

Fall 2021: The Library is conducting live orientation sessions synchronously via Zoom or asynchronously through videos or online guides (LibGuides) and other valuable resources. You may schedule an instructional session by sending an email to librarian@evc.edu or submitting the Instructional Session form. Instructors are expected to attend classes with their students and allow the Librarian to have "Host" functionality in Zoom during live sessions.

Please make arrangements at least one week in advance. You will be notified of the Instructional Session confirmation and the name of the Librarian instructing via email.

Instructors are expected to attend library orientations for their classes. If the instructor is not able to attend, a substitute will be required or the orientation will be rescheduled.
