Instructional Sessions

The Library is conducting orientation sessions synchronously via Zoom or asynchronously by creating a video and sending you links to LibGuides and other valuable resources. Please send an email to librarian@evc.edu and you will get a response to proceed. Complete this Instructional Session form for more complete information and send completed form to the Librarian. Instructors are expected to attend classes with their students and the Librarian can allow co-hosting with your agreement.

When the library reopens, to arrange a Library instructional session (orientation) for your class, call the reference desk at x6661 or come into the library. A librarian will schedule the visit and discuss any details of the current assignment. Please make arrangements at least one week in advance. You may also schedule an instructional session by sending an email to librarian@evc.edu. You may also print an Instructional Session form and send to the library. You will be notified of the Instructional Session confirmation and the name of the Librarian instructing via email.

Instructors are expected to attend library orientations for their classes. If the instructor is not able to attend, a substitute will be required or orientation rescheduled.
