We offer classes in a multitude of languages for you to choose from, each offering studies in language and culture. We will guide you through the process of language acquisition and cultural understanding.

Placement
Completion of the full sequence of courses 1A, 1B and 2A, 2B satisfies UC Foreign Language requirements. Students planning to transfer before completion of the World Language sequence or planning to major in World Languages should consult the instructor. A student with a World language background or previous training in a language should consult the instructor for placement.
Translation & Interpreting
EVC also offers a translation and interpreting program for students whose native language is either Spanish or Vietnamese. (see below)
