Our amazing Mental Health Provider, Bunthy Prum (Licensed Clinical Social Worker), will be offering this workshop series.

  • WHAT: Drop-in mindfulness-based workshop for relaxation
  • WHEN: Wednesdays (4/15, 4/22, 5/13)
  • WHERE: Student Services, Second Floor (S-2025)
  • TIME: 10-11AM
  • WHO: Open to EVC students and staff
  • Feel free to bring your own blanket and props. Mats provided.
     

Weekly Themes:

4/15: Passive Muscle Relaxation

An alternative to progressive relaxation technique. Passive muscle relaxation can induce deep relaxation throughout your mind and body.

4/22: Guided Visualization Breathwork

Combining breath awareness with visualization can help participants explore their inner landscapes while creating healing imagery together as a group.

5/13: Progressive Muscle Relaxation

Progressive muscle relaxation involves tensing and relaxing different muscle groups of the body.
