Join us inside Gullo II from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. as we screen Spike Lee’s “Do the Right Thing,” exploring racial tensions, systematic racism and police brutality. Beyond the conflict, it celebrated black life, style, music and vibrant community, challenging negative stereotypes and proving Black-centered stories could be commercially successful, paving the way for more Black filmmakers.
