TITLE OF SHOW: Sam Shovel, Private Eye.
A Radio Noir Comedy, Tailor-made for…..Murder! by Jane Jeffries and Jim Jeffries
Description: It’s a hot and sultry day in the gritty city, and Sam Shovel has a dead man sprawled in her office, stabbed in the back with a yardstick. Ends up this is just the first of a string of murders happening in the fashion industry. Though no one would ever think of Sam having anything to do with high fashion, it’s up to the private eye to find the connecting thread and sew up the case. Whether staged as an old-time radio show or recorded for a listening audience, this 1940s detective noir parody will leave your audiences in stitches! The script also fabricates four funny commercials for products of the 1940s.
