Tet is a long-standing and essential traditional celebration of the Vietnamese people.

It is a sacred moment marking the transition from the old year to the new, a time for families and communities to reunite after a busy year.

Tet represents wishes for luck, peace, and prosperity, reflected through meaningful traditions such as giving red envelopes, exchanging New Year’s greetings, making traditional foods, and decorating homes.

More than just a holiday, Tet is a deeply rooted cultural celebration that embodies Vietnamese identity and the spirit of unity.

To continue and honor this meaningful tradition, the Vietnamese Student Association (VSA) will be hosting a Tet Celebration for everyone at Evergreen Valley College, creating an opportunity for all to come together, celebrate, and experience Vietnamese culture.
