Make plans on Thursday, May 16, from 12 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. in Gullo II for a Conversation with the living legend, Mr. Emory Douglas, the art-activist behind the Black Panther’s revolutionary illustrations in their Black Panther Newspaper. Douglas’s iconographic art captured the essence of African American lived experiences in a system of racial oppression, police brutality & disenfranchisement.
