We have a wide range of programs that support our diverse students and provide individualized support for a variety of needs. You may qualify for multiple programs so take a look at the support programs we have at EVC.

Support Programs.

ASPIRE+PLLUS

ASPIRE+PLLUS is a student support program which helps minimize the barriers in marginalized communities within the AAPI community in order to promote academic and personal success within students. The acronym stands for Asian Pacific Islander Resources for Excellence plus Powerful Leadership and Learning for Unified Success.

CalWORKs Program

The CalWORKs (California Work Opportunities and Responsibility to Kids) provides services to parents receiving TANF (Temporary Aid to Needy Families) or cash aid. The WIN/CalWORKs Program offers degree and vocational training programs for TANF students.

Disabilities Support Program (DSP)

Disabilities Support Program (DSP) provides support services and instructional programs for students with disabilities who are attending Evergreen Valley College.

Extended Opportunity Program and Services (EOP&S)

Evergreen Valley College offers Extended Opportunity Program and Services (EOP&S) to assist students in meeting the social, financial, and academic requirements of completing a college education.

Foster Youth Programs and Services

The Foster Youth Programs and Services at Evergreen Valley College provides educational, daily living, financial literacy, career planning skills, and on-campus support and resources to foster and probation youth who have been living in out-of-home care (foster homes, kinship families, group homes, or residential placement).

OASISS

OASISS is a center designed to serve immigrant students in a safe space and with personnel that is sensitive, knowledgeable and experienced working with DREAMers.

Student Health and Wellness Services

The Health Clinic provides a medical doctor, nurse practitioner/registered nurses, and personal counselors to assist currently enrolled students with health-related and psychological matters. All services are completely confidential.

Veterans Freedom Center

The Veterans Freedom Center provides a one-stop location with trained staff prepared to provide a combination of services stressing academics, camaraderie, and wellness. We empathize with veterans many struggles; and strive to help veterans help themselves achieve success.
