About the Nursing Program.

This is a most adventurous time to enter the nursing profession! Demand for nurses continues to grow while supply steadily decreases. This situation will worsen with the aging of our population. In addition, a significant number of nurses are expected to retire within the next ten years. Rewards in nursing include constant opportunities to give compassionate competent care that makes a difference in the lives of others and positively contributes to the health and well being of humanity. Nursing also gives you job security, flexibility in hours, full benefits for part-time work, incentives to continue with education, pension plans, varied work settings.

Our graduates and local community health care providers find that our program solidly prepares competent entry-level nurses. Please consider the Evergreen Valley College Nursing Program as your program of choice as you consider a career in nursing.
