Important Dates to Remember

February 10, 2022- Virtual Grad Fair Day

March 15, 2022- Last Day to Submit Graduation Petitions

Visit the Counseling Office located in SC-250 to schedule your Grad appointments or call (408) 270-6475 for more information or to schedule.

March 29, 2022- Last Day to Pre-Order Cap and Gowns

Cap and Gowns pre-order ends at 8:59 pm PST. Pick up of pre-ordered Cap and Gowns will occur in early May. Students who do not pre-order their Cap and Gown can still purchase their cap and gown directly from the EVC Bookstore beginning in May.  Graduates also have the option to order their cap and gown for direct delivery to their homes. The deadline to order Home Ship is Monday, May 2, 2022, and the Home Ship shipping cost is $12.95.

May 6, 2022- Last Day to RSVP for Commencement and Request Tickets

Students must RSVP by this date and submit their ticket requests in order to participate in the Graduation Ceremony Friday, May 27, 2022. Absolutely no exceptions will be given after this date. Students can RSVP via the MarchingOrder website link received in their email or by visiting Students will need the code provided to them in their email so please make sure to check your email regularly after submitting your grad petition. Please also ensure that your email address on file in Admissions and Records is accurate and up to date.

May 26, 2022- Graduation Practice

For those interested, the Office of Student Life will offer a practice graduation at 4:00 pm in the EVC Soccer Stadium. This will be an opportunity for graduates to see how the flow of the day will go, where to check-in, how to cross the stage, and to answer any last-minute questions you might have.

May 27, 2022- THE BIG DAY

Your graduation will take place in the EVC Soccer Stadium. Parking Lot 9 (the closest Lot to the Soccer Field) will be reserved only for Graduate Parking. Please read through the EVC Graduation Guide for other recommended parking lots for guests. All graduates must arrive and be checked in before the 5:45 pm line up begins. 

4:45 p.m.- Graduate Check-In

5:45 p.m.- Graduate Line Up Begins

6:00 p.m.- Graduation Starts

Guests and Visitors Information

Welcome! We are so excited to welcome you to the EVC campus as we celebrate the Graduating Class of 2022. Below find important information you will need for attendance.

Please plan to arrive early to park and find your seats

Please Note: Parking Lot 9 will be reserved for Graduates, disabled, and elderly parking ONLY. All other guests must park in neighboring lots.

Shuttle service for disabled and elderly will be provided in parking lot 6.

The Commencement Ceremony will begin promptly at 6:00 p.m. . After this time, guests will not be permitted to enter the soccer stadium until after the procession has entered.


Due to COVID-19, the number of possible guests in attendance has been limited. Although there is no reserved seating, tickets are still required to enter the stadium. Guests without tickets and without proof of vaccination or approved medical/religious exemptions will not be permitted to enter the stadium.

Graduates will be seated on the grass field; guests will be seated on a limited number of seats on the field and in the bleachers behind graduates. In the evenings the field area can be windy and there will be no shade.  Please dress appropriately.  You may wish to bring sunglasses as the bleachers and seats will be facing in the direction of the sun. For safety reasons, guests must remain seated during the duration of the ceremony. As such, we ask that you please refrain from bringing large umbrellas that may block the view of the ceremony for other guests.

Greeters will be posted at the entrance and throughout the bleachers to assist with directions and seating.  If you need accommodations or special seating, please tell a greeter. They will direct you to someone who can assist you.
